Who we are

Little Wild is not your typical dance company. We’re a badass gang of artists committed to making people feel something—one dance at a time. Led by Toi Noelle, this work will be physically dynamic, emotionally rich, and deeply human.

Little Wild exists to move people—physically, emotionally, and communally. With raw, unfiltered choreography and an unshakable commitment to honesty, we create dances that crack something open inside. We don’t dance to be pretty; we dance to be real, to feel, to connect. Little Wild builds fleeting communities of movement and meaning, one moment at a time.

Toi Noelle is a choreographer who creates communities—intimate, ephemeral, and profoundly impactful. Her work begins with a concept, born from emotion and quickly translating into vivid, ever-present movement in her mind's eye. With a process grounded in intuition, she allows her body to speak first—wild, chaotic, and unfiltered—until the truth of her concept emerges through the language of motion. For her, the answers are always in the movement.

She is inspired by the little things—the almost-forgotten, the easily missed, the fragile whispers of existence. Her work celebrates what it means to be human: unedited, blemished, fallible, aging, complex, and rare. Toi finds beauty in the inward, the understated, and the quiet universality of imperfection, bringing these hidden details to light.

Toi’s urge to create is fueled by a longing for community. Every performance builds relationships—between audience and dancer, dancer and choreographer, and even between fleeting moments of shared understanding among strangers. She treasures the micro-communities formed when two or more people connect over a theme, a memory, or a gesture, even if just for a moment before moving on.

Her work leaves behind a residue of awakening, like the clarity of a good shower on a dreadful morning. Toi hopes her audiences walk away feeling brave, compassionate, and humbled by a deeper understanding of themselves and others. She infuses each movement with her own vulnerability and bravery, hoping that someone, somewhere, will find her out through the work—understanding the essence of her as a creator. Above all, she leaves her audience with a longing to be attentive, to notice the small things that matter.

Visually and viscerally, Toi Noelle’s aesthetic is raw, athletic, fluid, abstract, retro, and edgy. It is a mirror of her voice in conversation—her inflection, her facial expressions, her choice of words—translated into movement. Her choreography is a language, a way of speaking to the world when words aren’t enough. Through her artistry, she transforms the stage into a space of shared humanity, daring her audience to wake up, connect, and see each other in new and courageous ways.
